The course was designed by the property owner and the race director, who has 20 years of experience racing various events both nationally and internationally. The 5 and 10K course have recently been sanctioned by the USA Track and Field Association. This is an “off road” course using the natural topography, landscape and elevation changes in the scenic Happy Camp county park. It boasts beautiful vistas and challenging terrain.

Last years race was was a huge success, raising over 8000 dollars to help in the fight to eradicate Polio. We had over a hundred runners and walkers that participated in the event. This year we are looking forward to an even bigger crowd with many of last years runners already saving the date. We will be using electronic timing chips and have race medals for all finishers as well as age group medals for first, second and third place (male/female). Hope to see all of you out on the course December 01, 2012, we will race rain or shine 8:00 am !!
